Back-Roads Touring has launched its first mobile App available free on Google Play and the App Store.
Designed for Back-Roads customers, the new App allows travellers to load passport details and other personal information and access a group chat to connect with fellow passengers before, during and after their trip.
Key features of the App, which can be used offline while on tour, include a pre-loaded tour itinerary with maps of each destination. The App also includes weather forecasts, currency convertor and budget functionalities ensuring all guests have the essentials at their fingertips.
The App will also provide an opportunity for passengers to supply direct feedback to the company at the conclusion of their tour.
Country Manager Australia and New Zealand, Dennis Basham, said the launch of the App cements Back-Roads Touring’s place as leader in the boutique travel industry.
“Launching our first mobile App demonstrates our dedication to simplifying our guests’ travel experience, leaving them more time to enjoy the sights, savour the cuisine and immerse themselves in the local culture,” he said.
“The App will be our passengers’ go-to-guide on their holiday of a lifetime. We are excited to have this technology available to our customers and guides around the world.”
