Seven new itineraries feature as part of the luxury travel group’s 2017 Canada, Alaska & USA program
Scenic has just released its extensive range of Scenic Tours and Scenic Cruises that explore some of the world’s most beautiful and inspiring landscapes.
Starting with Canada, travellers can now discover more of its stunning west coast with four new itineraries including:
- The 13-day Canadian Castles & Alaskan Cruise from Calgary to Vancouver which has been designed for guests with limited time.
- The 19-day Canada’s Wildlife & Wilderness for wildlife enthusiasts includes stays at a number of lodges including Knight Inlet Lodge which will open the season exclusively for Scenic guests.
- The 17-Day Winter Wonders operates at the height of winter allowing guests to enjoy a number of unique activities like dogsledding and snowshoeing plus a trip of a lifetime to the Yukon to witness the spectacular Aurora Borealis.

Two new itineraries showcase Alaska both offering small ship cruising with luxury cruise partner Seabourn on board the intimate 450-passenger Seabourn Sojourn.
- The 24-day Breathtaking Alaska & Canadian Rockies includes an 11-night cruise and the 20-Day Hidden Gems of Alaska features a slower paced 14-night cruise. Both take guests to the smaller more secluded coves and inlets the larger cruise ships are unable to access including Sitka which is rich in Russian history on the 11-night cruise and on the 14 night, passengers will also visit Klemtu – a town adjacent to the Great Bear Rainforest which is home to native populations of grizzly, black and Kermode bears.
- The 41-day Canada & Cruise Enthusiast Tour travels coast to coast from Toronto in the East to Vancouver in the West, and includes cruises through the Gulf of St. Lawrence and Alaska’s Inside Passage.
Also new for 2017:
- The 5-Day Hawaiian Interlude allows guests to extend their stay in North America and enjoy some rest and relaxation over four nights in Honolulu at Westin’s Moana Surfrider, with included activities such as a North Shore visit and Germaines Luau.
