Re-inventing the ocean cruise experience, Viking has achieved a loyal following among discerning cruisegoers. A fleet of elegant ships, fascinating ports of call and all-inclusive pricing have made them an attractive choice.
Viking has already established itself as a leader in small ship ocean cruising. With a passenger capacity of just 930, Viking’s boutique ships are sizeable but intimate. On board, guests will find luxury features and modern conveniences all tastefully packaged in a medium-sized ship built for comfort.
Unlike the larger ocean-liners, Viking ships can sail straight into the heart of a destination, allowing guests more time to explore. In London for instance, why dock over an hour away at Southampton when you can sail right up the Thames and into the heartbeat of the city?
The interior of Viking ships are equally accommodating. Style and practicality set the tone onboard. You won’t find flashy casinos for example nor pre-mixed umbrella drinks or even children!
From delicious regionally-inspired meals, to enriching destination performances, fascinating lectures to included shore-excursions and Wi-Fi, you’ll find that Viking has set a new standard in ocean cruising.
Here is more of what you can expect when sailing with Viking Ocean Cruises.
Staterooms and suites offer spacious, elegant surroundings with a king-size bed and private verandah adding that extra special touch of enjoyment. You will also find heated bathroom floors, powerful showers, 24-hour room service, free Wi-Fi and movies on-demand. And with all cabins surrounded by the latest sound-proofing technology, a peaceful slumber is assured.
10 dining venues
With a choice of ten different dining venues, the most difficult decision you’ll have to make is where to dine. On Viking, there are no pay-to-dine options. All meals, regardless of the dining venue, are included in your fare. Dinner attire is smart casual too, so a dinner jacket is never required. Simply relax and enjoy the five-star service, quality cuisine and wine.
Viking ships offer more al-fresco dining options than any other cruise line. Aquavit Terrace, World Café and The Restaurant offer the chance to dine inside, or out.
24-hour room service
Do you fancy a breakfast served in bed? How about dinner under the stars on your private verandah? It’s all possible, thanks to 24-hour room service – complimentary of course.
For lunch and dinner, guests enjoy complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks in any of the ten onboard dining venues. Specialty teas, coffee drinks and bottled water are available anytime throughout your journey.

The evening entertainment options are plentiful. Enjoy a martini in the Viking Living Room with live classical music. Head to Torshavn for all-night dancing, enjoy a movie in one of the two theatres or your private stateroom, or enjoy a live show among the many other options available each evening.
Not found on your normal ocean cruise, Viking offers free shore excursion options in every port. Discover your destination with a local guide who will bring the destination to life with expert commentary on its people, culture and food.
Keep in touch with family and friends back home with free Wi-Fi throughout your journey. Available ship-wide in all public spaces and your stateroom.
Another inclusion rarely found on other ships is access to the spa facilities. Cool down in the snow grotto, heat up in the steam room, or enjoy the hydrotherapy pool or simply relax on a heated tile bed.
Featuring top-quality washers, dryers and ironing facilities, laundries can be found across multiple decks.
A unique edition, enjoy a swim in a glass-backed infinity pool that is cantilevered off the stern of the ship.
From far northern regions of Scandinavia, to the far east, the Americas and all corners of the globe, Viking Ocean Cruise itineraries take you to some of the world’s most fascinating and intriguing locations. And with ships that can manoeuvre in ports where the big ocean liners simply cannot, you’re located right where the action is meaning more time to spend onshore.
Relax knowing your ship’s state-of-art hybrid engines will help reduce your carbon footprint and minimise pollution.
No nasty surprises
One cruise fare, all-inclusive. No hidden taxes, port charges, gratuities or any other surprises. Save your credit card for the shopping onshore.
