Perched among the tree tops within the picturesque Blue Mountains in NSW, Spicers Sangoma Retreat is about as private and peaceful as it gets.
A true country retreat, the luxurious property is eco-certified and set amongst beautiful Australian bushland.
Accommodating just 12 guests, the thoughtful interior design and personalised service makes for an ideal setting for a family and friends getaway or romantic escape.
Just an hour’s drive from Sydney, the retreat is named after the Zulu word for ‘healer’. And true to its name, the infinity lap pool, sauna facilities, open plan common lounge area and natural surrounds make for a rejuvenating experience.

As with other Spicers properties, food is an important part of the retreat experience. The all-inclusive meals at Sangoma are inspired by fresh, organic, seasonal produce which are sourced locally from area farmers and producers.
All meals are included with your stay at Spicers Sangoma Retreat and Chef Matthew Ostrenski brings hearty, full flavours to the table with his 4-course evening menu that changes daily.
Each of the suites feature its own unique personality, combining elegant touches with modern conveniences throughout. Through seamless design, the outdoors are thoughtfully integrated with the interior spaces.
